Biography
Jean Yoon, PhD is a Health Economist in the VA Health Economics Resource Center and Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of California at San Francisco in the Department of Medicine. Her main research interests involve evaluation of primary care programs to improve value and comparisons of VA and non-VA care by Veterans. She studied primary care telehealth programs, the patient-centered medical home model, and intensive primary care management. She also conducted research on Veterans dually enrolled in VA and other insurance programs. She received her Ph.D. in health services from UCLA.
